We spent a great day cycling through the Ubud countryside with Gusti as our guide. He had great local knowledge and also spoke to us about plants, history, family structures and all things Balinese. We had pancakes for breakfast at a plantation, young coconuts in the fields and loads of fun. Our children – 9,13 and 16 all enjoyed the tour. It is a long day though so be prepared!Sam Carroll - Melbourne, Australia
We went on the Downhill Cycling tour whilst in Bali for our family holiday. Our guide “Panca” and driver “Wayan” met us at our hotel right on our specified pick up time. Met up in our mini van with another couple (mother & son from Sydney). After stopping off along the way at a coffee & fruit farm we headed up to the mountain to complete our downhill cycling tour with my wife and my teenage children daughter (16) and son (13) We had a fantastic day but the most impressive thing was that unfortunately the mother we met had an accicdent with a pretty nasty gash in her leg. Panca and the staff from Alam were fantastic. They arranged a trip to the hospital for her while my family and her son continued on the tour. The bike tour was a great day and something that I would reccommend you do.We met up with the mother at our lunch stop where she informed us that she had been looked after and covered by Alam’s insurance (which is included in the price of your ticket). Very impressive company with very professional staff. Thank you Panca for a great day.Anthony - Australia
We did the 2 hour cycling trip which took us through glorious scenery and rice fields with a very relaxing downhill gradient perfect for anyone who has basic bike riding ability. Our guide Ketut was very friendly and hilarious while the supporting truck guys were very helpful. A must do.Lewis L
My family and I had a great time doing the Ubud cycling tour. Staff were great, we do not cycle much at home and loved riding through and seeing the locals day to day life. Thanks for a great day especially GustiAndrew
We had the most enjoyable and fun day especially as our tour guide Ketut was such a happy guy. He took us through the rice fields and explained along the way the various stages of the rice harvest. We made several stops for photos and to relieve our saddle soreness! which everyone including Ketut seemed to suffer from. Cycling through the villages and seeing the school kids waving and wanting a high 5 from us was such fun. Seeing the real Bali made us feel quite humble, no air con and mod cons in their villages but they still had smiles on their faces. We will certainly be back next year.Elizabeth
